About the Item

This is a Rectangular Drop-Leaf Dining Table in Teak, designed by Poul Cadovius for Royal System in Denmark in the 1960s. We have had the table freshly refinished, revealing an exquisite grain on the leaves and top. The piece features tapered rectangular legs, in the same form as Cadovius' popular Cado Wall Units. The leaves are connected with butterfly hinges, which can also be easily removed if the leaves are not needed. This table measures 32 inches deep, 48 inches with leaves in the downward position, and 28.5 inches tall. When the leaves are in an upward position, the table measures 94 inches wide. While the piece has been freshly refinished, there are still some slight scratches and signs of age apparent. Overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
