Francesco Scapinelli was an architect and ceramist and was brothers with the established designer, Giuseppe Scapinelli. After working for years with his older brother, Francesco Scapinelli founded Studio Novo Rumo, in São Paulo. Studio Novo Rumo produced furniture at an industrial scale with excellent quality and materials. Novo Rumo pieces have sharply increased in popularity in recent years-- being currently styled by many top interior designers around the globe.
