About the Item
Credenza is an aluminium cabinet, designed and produced by Johan Viladrich in his atelier in the South of France. Functional and sculptural, its form is minimal yet monumental. Each part is connected to the other with stainless steel bolts so that the entire piece can be flat packed.
The vibrated finish of the surface is done only to bring out the natural aspect of aluminium and to create a subtle play with light that animates the object. The piece is then waxed to protect the aluminium from stains but still allow for a more natural aspect than what the anodising could provide.
'Credenza' is designed and entirely made by Johan Viladrich.
Each piece is signed and numbered and professionally packed.

Johan Viladrich
Johan Viladrich is an internationally famous contemporary designer. A pure design with essential forms is what characterizes the aesthetic of Viladrich. In his work, he aims to reveal the inherent beauty of materials through refined surface treatments and subtle combinations. He uses the mass of metals such as bronze, steel or copper to create radical structures in which all superfluous elements have disappeared. Viladrich attaches as much importance to the final appearance of his pieces as to the mechanisms making them exist.
Possibility to adapt length, height and width to requirements.
The credenza can be anodised, other coatings and colours can be discussed.
