"Mount" Sideboard by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni

About the Item

Superb and very rare sideboard designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, belonging to the "Mount" series. The piece of furniture was made in Italy in the late 70s and is made of black mirror lacquered wood on the front and back with black leather handles, it has two drawers in the center with an open compartment and two doors on each side with a very large internal shelf. The piece of furniture is very rare as it already had a high retail price at the time, especially in the lacquered black finish and in this very impressive three-module version, which is why only a few examples were produced by Molteni. The condition of the object is excellent, as shown in the photographs, with only a few tiny signs of aging visible only against the light. Dimensions: 298 x 50 H 76
