About
For sale is a good quality 18th century and later decorated George III chinoiserie bureau. The fall front opening to reveal a fully fitted interior comprising of various pigeon holes, drawers and a well. Below this there are an arrangement of five drawers, three short over two long. The bureau stands on bracket feet and is profusely decorated with chinoiserie throughout. We believe the decoration to have been added during the first quarter of the 20th century. Overall, the bureau is in very good condition, with minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
Measures: Width 36", depth 21.5", height 40.25".
