About the Item

A dramatic Charles X fall front secretary in astounding burled mahogany veneer. The original fossilized marble top is supported by an elliptical molding. The main body contains one upper drawer and seven below the desk area. The secretary workspace features its original weathered leather writing surface and a number of drawers and prospect door. The low part has two doors how reveals a large storage with one shelve and one sliding door. Height from the floor to the writing surface : 29.13 in.
