About
An antique solid oak postal desk with several removable shelves, drawer with brass handle, document slot and postal messenger bag hook underneath. Each shelf has slots for letters and original labels. The desk is stamped under the drawer "1939".
Creator: The Lycoming Furniture Store, Indiana.
Date of manufacture: circa 1939.
Materials and techniques: Solid oak.
Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Very sturdy. Refinished with an oil and wax paste.
Dimensions: H 75 in. x D 30 in. W 48.25 in. Knee clearance 27 in.

Salvaged from a paper factory in the San Francisco Bay Area.
