About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Art Deco Limed oak twin pedestal partner desk with cupboards on both sides This desk is part of a suite, I have a pair of desk chairs, a carver chair and a glazed door displace cabinet or bookcase, all listed under my other items The desk is a stunning piece and offers huge amounts of leg room, idea for tall long legged people, as mentioned it’s a full twin pedestal partner desk so you have cupboards with shelves on both sides, the idea being that the office partners would share one large wide deep desk as opposed to trying to fit two very small desks in the same place The top removes for ease of transport and each pedestal has four internal locks for securing the top in place. The desk also comes complete with two original keys which work all four of the fully functioning locks The desk has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, its in pretty much perfect condition for the age, there is a section on the top which looks more preserve colour wise than the rest, I guess it maybe had a pc monitor on there for a good few years Dimensions: Height:- 79cm Width:- 150cm Depth:- 80cm Leg room height 74cm, Width 53cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
