English Red Mini Kneehole Desk
About the Item
English Venezian Red Mini Kneehole Desk with raised Chinoiserie. Hand painted and crafted by Kipper himself in our shop; truly making this vibrant desk a one of a kind. He was inspired by the traditional Asian chinoiserie, and wanted to create his own version of it. With semi-raised gold embellishments throughout the piece giving it dazzling accents. Within the gold there are scenes of pagodas, plants and trees, and lovers enjoying each other from afar. There are carbolie legs that swoop down into a full stop with a bun foot. It has 4 drawers of different sizes and shapes, accompanied with miniature brass hardware. The hardware matches the shape of the elegant carvings beneath it, and the floral paintings around it. This piece will brighten any room it stands.
