Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very fine, Antique Victorian circa 1880, Walnut twin pedestal, double sided partners desk with hand dyed brown leather top Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price What a desk….. these cushion curved drawer desks almost never come up for sale, they are based on early Regency pieces which scream English fine furniture. This desk has the original leather top and handles, it is one of the best looking desks I’ve had in stock for some time. The desk leather is nicely aged which adds a sense of history to the top! The desk is as mentioned double sided, you have normal drawers to the front and the rear has cupboards with shelves for books and general storage It’s been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, it will have normal age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect Dimensions Height:- 76.5cm Width:- 169cm Depth:- 90cm Inside leg space Height:- 61cm Width:- 77cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
