An English oak Welsh dresser from the 19th century, with open shelves, petite hooks and low sideboard with two doors, three drawers, carved arch and Chippendale style hardware. Created in England during the 19th century, this oak Welsh dresser features a narrow upper section made of a beveled cornice with molded accents, sitting above open shelves presenting petite hooks in the front. The lower part is made of a sideboard showcasing three drawers fitted with brass Chippendale style hardware and presenting a dovetail construction revealing the piece's good age. Two doors below, with recessed panels, surround a central opening carved with an arched motif. The ensemble is raised on bracket feet whose elegant lines compliment the piece beautifully. With its nice proportions, oak patina and convenient organization, this English Welsh dresser from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, particularly placed in a kitchen or dining room!
