Matte black steel and ebonized walnut
Shown with 3 sub-divided drawers - 48” width x 32” height x 18” deep
A seamlessly welded case holds three sub-divided drawers on soft-close runners and sits on a solid wood base with punched saddle leather glides.
Made to order by hand in Laylo's Chicago studio in custom dimensions, wood or metal finishes, and drawer/door/shelving configurations.

Lydia & Sam founded Laylo Studio in 2014. Every piece is patiently handmade by the pair in their Chicago studio using solid wood joinery, fine metalwork, woven leathers, and other mixed media. Their method of collaborative practice pushes them to arrive at enlivened interpretations of classic forms enriched by an in-depth understanding of both contemporary craft and design. In addition to the work displayed here, Laylo is receptive to collaborating with clients and designers to create bespoke pieces for unique spaces.
