Restored Edward Wormley Dunbar Walnut & Leather 8-Drawer Dresser or Cabinet

About the Item

This dresser was designed by decorated design icon Edward Wormly for equally revered manufacturer Dunbar Furniture. Known for hundreds of successful designs and exceptional quality, this dresser is no different. The walnut has been restored to its original depth and color, with a pleasant warm tone and excellent clarity into the grain. Four expansive drawers flank either side, also in walnut, but featuring center-biased handles clad in leather. This choice, odd on the surface, brings a lot of character to this dresser not common in many others even from Wormley's own catalogue. This is also the larger model, as opposed to the more common 4-drawer model. A super stylish and practical cabinet or dresser. You will love this dresser in your eclectic or modern home. This cabinet has been professionally restored by our in-house team. This involves chemical stripping and hand-sanding to remove the old finish. Then, new finish is applied using automotive-grade tools. Finally, the color is sealed in with a clear satin lacquer that provides a warm and inviting look.
