Eugenio Diez of Buenos Aires Illuminated & Inlaid Floating Bar Cabinet
About the Item
Eugenio Diez of Buenos Aires, Argentina intarsia Inlaid two part bar cabinet circa 1950 having four locking doors with eight inlaid raised and back lit panels with exquisite figural inlays in exotic woods. The center compartment having a glass door opening to a mirrored bar compartment with pull-out glass shelf for mixing. The central cabinet is an open mirrored upper cabinet with glass door above a pull out glass shelf for mixing drinks, below which is four drawers with solid brass pulls. The top drawer is lined and fitted for silverware. The entire curved front cabinet stands on a conforming base with sculptural tapered legs with brass sabits. Remarkable craftsmanship restored to perfection and ready for proud placement.
