About the Item
An exquisite wine bar secretary cabinet by South Cone Trading Company. An elegant embodiment of traditional craftsmanship, the wine bar cabinet is hand crafted of quality Mahogany wood.
The crown of the cabinet features a gently protruding cornice and the main body is characterized by a broad, flat-front panel, meticulously inset within a beveled border. This panel, when lowered, unveils a practical drop-front desk and revealing serving space and rack for storing wine bottles and glasses.
Below the drop-front, the cabinet is adorned with two dove tails drawers, each fitted with vintage-style metal pulls that evoke a sense of antiquity and one of the drawers is signed in on the side by the manufacturer. Supporting the structure are turned legs, robust and elegantly shaped, connected by a sturdy H-stretcher, ensuring both stability and stylistic coherence. The legs intricate carvings reflect a dedication to artisanal excellence, a hallmark of the cabinet's likely period of creation.
