19th Century Satinwood Linen Press
About the Item
For sale is a top quality 19th century satinwood linen press, having an architectural pediment, urn finials, and two well figured panel doors enclosing original linen trays. The base is comprised of two short over two long drawers, banded with tulipwood, raised on splayed bracket feet. This piece remains in very good condition for its age and is highly unusual being Satinwood.

Provenance: This piece was purchased from Elveden Hall, Suffolk, England and once belonged to the 1st Earl of Iveagh, Lord Guiness.
