1820s Swedish Wooden Desk

About the Item

A wooden cabinet created in 1820s Sweden. Tall, slender, and painted in an inviting reddish ochre, this cabinet presents an air of familiarity and amicable function. This discreet secretary cabinet unfolds to reveal a narrow writing surface for efficiently setting your affairs in order. Featuring three lower drawers, a series of storage cubbies, and three upper shelves, this cabinet provides plenty of space for holding all the necessary accessories. Through time, the paint that coats the antiquated surface of the cabinet has ebbed and thinned slightly, creating a washy exterior where one can see inklings of the underlying wood grain.
