18th Century Black Swedish Gustavian Oak Bureau - Antique Drop Front Secretaire

About the Item

An antique Swedish Gustavian bureau made of hand crafted painted Oakwood, in good condition. The Scandinavian writing table, desk features many small storage drawers within and three large storage drawers. The black, drop front secretaire represents the neoclassical Greek style with the original brass hardware and key. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1790, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia. Desk opening: 16.75" H x 18.45" W x 13" D.
