1940s lacquered wood writing desk attributed to René Drouet French art deco

About the Item

Rare '40s secrétaire attributed to French designer René Drouet. Structure in lacquered solid wood with attractive floral decoration on the top door (original paint, gilding and lacquering). Mahogany veneered interior and solid brass feet. Very high quality workmanship. Beautiful vintage condition, with traces of use and advanced age, we wanted to keep the piece in its original patina (see photos).
