19th Century Marble Top Secretaire

This Late 19th century Louis XVI Secretaire has been completed restored is made out of mahogany wood with a remarkable new ebonized finish and comes with its original dark grey beveled marble top. The Commode features three pullout drawers with flat molding hand gilt details throughout the piece, and all feature two large intricate brass handles and keyplates. The top drawer transforms into a drop-top desk and the interior has its original embossed leather top with four small drawers and open compartment space. All the drawers come with the original locks and key in working condition, open/close with ease, and rests on four tapered legs with brass toe caps. This Incredible 1870s French Ebonized Commode is handcrafted, solid, sturdy, and ready to be used for years to come.
