About the Item
An impressive antique Italian Venetian drop front secretary desk. Made from olive burl with a downswept lid and serpentine frame. Each panel shows off exquisite burl and shapely cross banding. The unique writing surface opens to 4 drawers and a central compartment. Chest portion has three drawers for storage fitted with acanthus curved brass hardware. The case is supported by cabriole legs carved along the knee. A glamorous bureau that will be the conversation of any space.
