About the Item

Gustavian secretary painted in an elegant cinnabar red and a black-painted top with a profiled edge. The interior is revealed when the writing surface is lowered and features a black-painted finish with numerous drawers, storage compartments, and a central door beautifully adorned with fluted details. Beneath the writing surface are three spacious drawers, all fitted with original brass handles and locks. Slanted corners with fluted detailing. Resting on tapered legs, also accented with fluted mouldings. Crafted in Sweden circa 1800
