About the Item

French roll-top desk resting on fluted legs with brass inlays and sabots. The refined fluting continues along the pilasters, creating a cohesive design. The lower section offers ample storage with five drawers, each framed by delicate brass moldings. Behind the roll-top are three additional drawers and a pull-out writing surface lined with green leather. The piece is crowned with a dark grey marble top featuring white veining, surrounded by a low brass gallery rail—a distinguished example of late 18th-century French cabinetmaking.
