Rare Pair of 18th Century Italian Double Dome Bureau Bookcases, circa 1760

About the Item

A rare and impressive pair of 18th century Italian burr walnut double dome bureau bookcases, each with canted corners, turned, carved and gilded finials. Ebonised moldings, panelled doors with burr walnut veneers, inlaid shaped panels to the doors, fall, dummy drawer fronts and sides. Both bureaus are in a rustic state, depending on the finish buyer wants we can of course restore accordingly.
