This is a gorgeous vintage 1950s era John Widdicomb chinoiserie secretary desk with a wonderful pair of tombstone shaped antique mirrored doors. The raised, paint-decorated chinoiserie is all hand painted and bright, luminous and superbly done. There are few of these around anymore and the fact is chinoiserie items never go out of style and can blend in beautifully with virtually any design scheme.
