Writing table/ bureau plat in Empire style after Jacob Desmalter
Maple Roots with thread intarsia on solid Pinewood, partially carved and handpainted. Cutted out pedestal on profiled disc feet. Over which are typically large corner standing winged moulded, prominent Lions heads. In three divided gold embossed Leather plate. In addition, with drawable platter with embossed Leather fixtures. Highly valuable, engraved Bronze patination. Jacob Desmalter, the Master Craftsman at the Court of Napoleon Bonaparte.
