Secretary desk 1152M in solid oak, Dyrlund, Denmark, 1990's

About the Item

Without ever skimping on quality, this company, founded in 1960, once again shows the high level of standards that it applies to all its achievements. If Dyrlund prides itself on having had prestigious and unusual clients such as Mikhail Gorbachev, it nonetheless remains true that their furniture lives up to their standards. A compact format secretary rounded from all angles and unlike many, it is entirely made of solid wood. Favoring this type of manufacturing guarantees extraordinary longevity for the furniture. Entirely in solid light oak, it benefits from a multitude of pretty details: drawers assembled with straight handles, a leather insert on the top, or the possibility of transforming it into a dressing table with its large mirror hidden under the work surface . Note that once the mirror is raised, a large drawer becomes accessible to accommodate, for example, laptops or other computers.
