About

A Swedish Rococo style light grey / blue painted tall secretary with glass doors cabinet from the late 19th century. This Swedish secretary features a bonnet shaped pediment sitting atop two panelled glass doors. These doors open to reveal inner shelves, including a spoon shelf at the top, perfect to showcase your favorite decorative objects. The section below comprises a slant-front desk, concealing multiple inner drawers and open shelves, perfect for a convenient organization of various documents. The lower section of this secretary is made of three graduated drawers with brass ring pulls, resting on a scalloped base. This Swedish secretary demonstrates a perfect balance between clean and sinuous lines, creating a striking visual appeal. We have gotten our hands on many Swedish antiques, but this secretary has stolen our hearts. With its soft color, graceful silhouette and combination of wood and glass, this secretary circa 1890 will be a charming presence in any home.
