About the Item

1940's Workshop chest of drawers - eight drawer chest 1940's Workshop chest of drawers - eight drawer chest. Good and very original small chest of drawers from an English workshop. The carcass is solid with principally birch timber used throughout. The Drawers all run well and are beautifully made with tongue and groove joints and lovely solid original brass handles. Oozing character. Internal drawer dimensions are 65L x 26W x 16H. All cm. Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
