1960’s Four Door Birch Cabinet – Nabytek Czech
1960’s Four Door Birch Cabinet – Nabytek Czech. Beautiful simple and classic mid century cabinet sourced in the Czech Republic. Produced by Nabytek in Brno in the Czech Republic. Czech design will always be affiliated to the Bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production in Czechia principally during the second half of the 20th , with producers such as Ton and Up Zavody amongst many others. Nabytek’s was one of the top end cabinet producers competing with Up Zavody. This is a high quality practical cabinet with two doors on the bottom locked with the original key, inside are three ‘point’ adjustable original glass shelves. The top section features the original sliding doors, beautifully detailed with a dark walnut door as a feature, inside there are original shelves fully adjustable.
Internal overall dimensions top 27L x 53W x 60H (between shelves 19). Bottom section 42L x 53W x 28H all cm (each side). The cabinet is very original but our workshop has gently cleaned and restored it ensuring all doors run and open smoothly.
