About the Item
An Anglo-Indian tiered shelf from the early 20th century, with richly carved structure, scrolling foliage, reddish brown accents and black paint. Hand-crafted during the second quarter of the 20th century, this tiered pieces features seven shelves presenting a reddish brown stain, alternating beautifully with one another. It is its black painted structure however, which attracts all of our attention with its richly carved décor showcasing an abundance of scrolling foliage, luscious leaves and petite carved beads. Raised on four straight legs, the shelf presents a nicely weathered patina. With its skilfully carved décor, convenient design and complimenting colors, this Anglo-Indian tiered shelf circa 1930 will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room, study or hallway!.
