Hex Collection Aluminum Shelf by Michael Young
About the Item
Finally, after 2 years of hard machine work and polishing, the first Hex piece found its way to the market. From this, a limited collection of tables, shelves, and even a bathroom sink was designed as part of a limited edition. The material blocks are made at the source for the project in the highest-grade aluminum, then CNC over a series of months. Each item has to be hand-polished to achieve the fine line divisions and is then given a one-particle coating in order to protect the surface whilst at the same time maintaining the gloss surface.
