About the Item

17th century English oak server. Blackened with the patination of centuries. Three drawers, the central with diamond carving & brass cut work plate, the others X carved with brass turned pulls with cut work backplates (hardware is a later addition). The back the same but faux drawers and no hardware. Heavy median moldings over turned legs over h-stretcher (medial board replaced), over bold ball feet. Some top board replaced. Repairs commensurate with age & use. 51 1/4" w., 25 1/4" d. surface, 26 1/4" d. overall, 32 1/8" h.
