This is a fine example of English George III craftsmanship exemplified in this mahogany inlaid serpentine sideboard. The graceful serpentine top has canted corners and a crossbanded edge, resting over a central drawer flanked by a cupboard and wine drawer. Satinwood, ebony, olive and rosewood inlays adorn the entire piece in the form of stringing and crossbanding, as well as flowering and thistle designs, supported by tapering legs ending in a spade.
