19th C. English bow-front sideboard
19th C. English bow-front sideboard with hand-painted decoration. Very unusual! Wonderful patina accentuating the mahogany wood. There are two deep well drawers on each side with a center drawer and below that a warming drawer with a slight string satinwood inlay around the arch shape. One thing unique is the hand-painted Bellflower and shell-painted designs which would normally be inlaid on the front. The top is banded and painted but the choice mahogany top really shows the depth and beauty mahogany can present. Resting on six tapered legs this is a unique piece for any home and will add character to any or most rooms.
