4.95m Victorian Haberdashery drawer counter
About the Item
This is a truly fabulous piece of furniture that we salvaged from a lace factory in Nottingham. It is a truly original 19th century Haberdashery counter complete with panelled front and bank of drawers. The counter is made from a pine base with simulated mahogany and the top is solid walnut with an incredible patina.
This will make an amazing piece for restaurant or bar or an island in a large kitchen. It is very cleverly made and basically comes flat pack with everything except the drawer sets which are 3 sets. The top splits into two as does the base plate so a very straight forward piece to move around.
The whole counter has been restored sympathetically and retains all its character. The drawers all open and close smoothly as well as flush. The drawers also retain historical labels but we can of course remove these should you prefer.
