About the Item

This piece of furniture was part of a family of 4D products born from the genius of Angelo Mangiarotti for Molteni in 1964. In this series, Mangiarotti managed to concentrate apparent formal simplicity, functionality, and attention to detail. Almost imperceptible details, on the other hand, concealed a great formal refinement, such as the Emperador marble top and the finely shaped corners, the result of exquisite craftsmanship. His mastery in the use of materials is also evident in the sliding wooden shutter, functional for concealing everyday objects. Surprisingly, the central panel can be removed to become a practical support or a small desk. A special piece, with timeless design, that withstands the test of time, proving itself to still be relevant. (Piece from the personal archive of the cabinetmaker Pierluigi Ghianda)
