Antique 19th C. American Empire Crotch Flame Mahogany Sideboard Buffet. Item features 2 pull out surfaces on the sides, tall back splash with spindle sides, glass knob pulls, turn carved legs and columns, and large substantial size. Sideboard further features 3 hand dovetailed drawers, 4 swing cabinet doors with carved interior shelves and compartment. Item measures 52"H to back splash and 45"H to surface x 72"W x 25" D. Circa Mid 19th Century. Measurements: 52" H x 72" W x 25" D.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Losses to wood trim as to be expected with examples pictures. Currently unlocked without key. Right side pull out surface missing piece of wood and pull. Top has age appropriate settlement cracks which does not affect use. Overall very nice.

This is a superb antique English Regency flame mahogany shaped serpentine bowfront sideboard, Circa 1820 in date. It is crossbanded, bordered with ebony lines and fitted with a central frieze drawer above a recessed arched apron drawer. It is flanked by two short drawers to one side and a cellarette drawer to the other. It has superb decorative brass foliate anthemion ring handles and is raised on elegant ring turned tapered legs. Fitted with working locks and keys. Add an elegant touch to a special place in your home with this superb antique sideboard.
