Antique 19th Century Bleached Oak 3-Door Sideboard Buffet from France
About the Item
It is the arched paneled doors, scalloped skirt and diamond detail of the drawers that separate this French oak sideboard apart from others.
The bleached finish gives it a fresh and welcoming look for today's modern home and shows off the wonderful grain.
Exterior brass knobs and (new) interior latches allow doors to open and close easily.
The long groove along the top back indicates it likely held an upper plate rack at an earlier point in time.
This sideboard buffet is restored, strong, stable and ready for use.
Typical separation of planks (along top), stains, signs of cracks, etc are commensurate with age, please enlarge photos of top, side and front panels for clear understanding. While there is a minimal raised back left corner it does not detract from the aged appeal of this authentic French buffet.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this sideboard.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
