Highboard with diamond shaped doors (Pointe de Diamant) designed by Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq. Manufactured by Behr, Germany in 1962. From first possession, provenance: Paris, France. (Original EWB, Behr stamp on the backside, see photos) Highboard with four diamond shaped doors designed by Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq. The exterior of the body is in walnut, the interior in maple. Features a big storage area with shelves. The shelves are variable at the top and bottom or can be removed completely, 2 drawers on the right-hand side. Philippon and Leqoc shared a fruitful life-long cooperation after their shared studies in Paris. It granted them early fame and led to projects such as a West Berlin residential building plan to which the era's biggest names such as Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto and Oscar Niemeyer contributed as well.
