About the Item

Beautiful shaped small sideboard designed by Anton Borg for Randers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, 1960. A quintessential example of Danish Mid-Century Modern design, it combines functional clarity with a warm material expression. The piece is crafted in beautifully grained teak, featuring two sliding doors on the left and a column of five drawers on the right, each with sculpted pulls. Its balanced proportions and minimalist detailing give the cabinet an understated elegance, while the raised frame and slender legs lend it a light and architectural presence. The craftsmanship is meticulous, with fine joinery and a carefully selected veneer that enhances the overall harmony of the design. Offering both ample storage and visual sophistication, this sideboard exemplifies the best of Danish modern cabinetry. It remains in very good original condition with a rich patina to the teak. A timeless and highly collectible piece, perfectly suited for both modern and classic interiors.
