About the Item

This stunning Art Deco Machine Age skyscraper style sideboard was realized in the United States circa 1935. It features a beveled bookmatched walnut base with an aluminum wrapped perimeter that ascends into a reeded art Deco tier that supports the body of the piece. The body features two doors in the center flanked by cabinets on each side and two drawers on top in bookmatched brown walnut with streamlined aluminum pulls on each, and a lustrous black lacquer top. Each door opens to reveal an interior shelf offering a wealth of storage options. With its iconically Art Deco materials (and color palate) this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. It is also as versatile as it is aesthetically appealing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly restored to mint condition.
