This elegant Italian wall mounted sideboard from the 1940s is crafted from rich chestnut wood and accented with refined brass detailing. The piece reflects a sophisticated design sensibility characteristic of the period, with clear references to the work of Paolo Buffa and Pier Luigi Colli, visible in its balanced proportions, decorative edge carvings and the material choices. Its symmetrical composition features two cabinet doors flanking a central column of five drawers. The scalloped border running along the top and bottom edges adds a decorative flourish, enhancing its artisanal charm without overwhelming its clean lines. The polished brass knobs and keyholes complete the design and add some glamour, showcasing Italian style at its finest.
