About the Item

Elefante collection by NONO furniture. A distinguished tribute to the architectural movements of Mexican Modernism and Brutalist design. The collection showcases three minimal furniture design pieces, including a versatile side table that doubles as a nightstand, a monumental coffee table, and a narrow console table ideal for entryways or living rooms. Each item of the collection is expertly crafted from oak wood with an vintage look, creating an aura of exquisite quality and sophistication. The simple geometric forms, designed with a particular emphasis on balance and harmony, reflect the core principles of Brutalist design. The collection's inspiration lies in the works of renowned architects such as Luis Barragán and Ricardo Legorreta, who shaped Mexican Modernism with their aesthetic sensibility and innovative approach. The Elefante Collection pays homage to these masterpieces, capturing their essence in every detail. The sturdiness of construction and exceptional craftsmanship of each furniture piece guarantee longevity and durability. Moreover, each item can be customized to meet your unique preferences, tailored to any size, proportion, and finish. The Elefante Collection by NONO Furniture stands as a true masterpiece of architectural furniture design, showcasing the inherent beauty and elegance of Mexican Modernism and Brutalist design. Enrich your living space with the timeless appeal of these remarkable pieces. Production takes 7-9 weeks to ensure the highest level of precision and quality. Design by Joel Escalona —— NONO is a Mexican design brand with more than 10 years of experience dedicated to the production of interior furnishings, editions, and custom-made projects. At NONO, we create pieces of extraordinary beauty, accommodating the particular needs and tastes of each client with exclusive high-quality designs. — Joel Escalona is a Mexican designer, difficult to define with a single word. His constant search for clarity, integrity and harmony led to his development as a designer with an obvious inclination towards visual arts, such as painting and sculpture. Joel’s work is characterized by thorough and elegant processes, sometimes creative, other times productive and on occasion, a bit introspective. In his work, it is possible to find glimpses of his charismatic and ironic personality, resorting to elements such as lyric, humor and poetry as attributes that are in constant connection throughout his body of work. — ——— Some details to consider when placing an order with us: • Catalog images are digitally generated. Actual products may slightly vary in texture, grain, and final finish due to natural material differences. Despite these variations, our expertise ensures each piece maintains high quality and matches the intended design. • All of our products are made to order, and the lead time for standard products is estimated to be 9 to 12 weeks, plus shipping time. However, special pieces or sculptures may require a longer lead time. • We offer customization in dimensions and finish for all of our furniture pieces, which may result in additional charges. • We only facilitate freight services by a third party. The client is solely responsible for any associated import/export taxes, as well as any necessary customs paperwork. • We are not responsible for any damages that may occur during shipping or for any customs-related delays.
