Chinese Lacquered Elm Sideboard in Red, Green and Yellow

About the Item

Sideboard from the Shandong Province of China, dating to the Qing dynasty, 1880–1900. Crafted in elm wood, featuring two sets of double doors with original round, patinated brass fittings. The surface retains its original lacquer colours: red panels, green frames, and yellow line details. An authentic example of late 19th-century Chinese craftsmanship, showing natural patina and age-related wear.
