About the Item

Elegant and refined walnut coin cabinet, enriched with gilded bronze and ebonized wood finishes. The onion-shaped feet are made of ebonized wood, while the corners are adorned with gilded bronze details, characterized by vegetal and geometric motifs. This piece of furniture, used as a coin or jewelry holder, has a front embellished with eight drawers, skillfully disguised as sixteen. In the center, the decoration depicts a balcony, while underneath there are two small columns and a small door that, when opened, reveals "secrets" with three additional drawers. This coin cabinet is a piece of furniture of great workmanship, capable of enriching any environment with class and elegance. Made in northern Italy during the Louis XIV period, in the early 18th century, in fact, while recalling the style of the 17th century, the refined details are typical of 18th century cabinetmaking.
