About the Item
Our solid walnut sideboard is made from domestically harvested walnut. Highlighted with bleached beech doors and a hand-carved solid walnut base.
These sliding doors are made with beechwood, which is bleached and then hand rubbed with a natural oil wax. The door pulls are made of solid brass.
The base is made of solid walnut with a hand-carved stretcher connecting the two curved legs.
This is a made to order piece, the length, height, width, and materials can be customized to suit your space and needs.

MSJ Furniture Studio
A contemporary furniture design studio based in Vancouver British Columbia. Founder Michael Smith-Jones comes from a long line of builders, sculptors, and artists. Raised surrounded by his father's stone sculptures Michael draws influence and inspiration from his upbringing and his fine woodworking background to create bold assertive designs, with sensitivity to balanced form, function and beauty. Each piece is handmade in our studio. Every curve, surface, and joint is contemplated and scrutinized to produce furniture that you can enjoy for a lifetime. Our designs are carefully crafted to be comfortable in many design environments. Bringing in old ideas and new to create furniture that is reminiscent of the past while belonging in the present.
