France / 1911 / sideboard / Maurice Dufrène / walnut, marble, mirror, bronze / Art Nouveau / Art Deco Stunning hemisphere Art Nouveau sideboard by French designer Maurice Dufrène. This sideboard crafted in massif walnut wood, features beautiful wood inlay, a beige marble top, bonze hardware and a triptych of mirrors on the top. The left and right side have 2 moon shaped drawers and underneath two-door compartments, each with one shelve. The middle and largest compartiment has one shelve and a beautiful inlay decorated door. Its geometric lines and rich finishes embody the timeless charm of the Art Nouveau era, making it a statement piece. Maurice Dufrène is a French cabinet maker, interior designer, chief decorator and author of works on decoration, born in 1876 in Paris and died in 1955 in Nogent-sur-Marne.
