Fine Vintage Flame Mahogany Tiered Lift Top Server Attributed to Van Den Bosch
About the Item
Possibly by Jac. Van den Bosch (1868-1948) who worked in various woods in different styles, many in the early 20th century into the 1920s. A three- tiered server with an overhanging lift up top, opening to two folding back shelves. The two short apron drawers with fine brass olive wreath escutcheons (with two keys). The two shaped tiers with double turned columnar supports with acanthus leaf bases on the sides in front. Flat double back supports on each end. Raised on double bun feet in front and square back feet.
Measures: Length 40 1/4", depth 19 3/4", height 39 3/4"
Condition: left side apron molding loose but preserved, scratches on the tops and second tier however the Server presenting very well.
