This vintage 6.25 foot long cabinet from France features a four drawers, set vertically, between a pair of single paneled doors, with a gently scalloped skirt, and raised upon petite cabriole legs which have been carved with nicely scrolled volutes. This piece is designed with a subtly bowed center, where the paneled-front drawers are housed, with top mimicking the shape of the case below. The skirting is heavily molded, and this chest is raised upon carved bracket-style feet which give open arch-shaped designs at the underside.
